James Hinkle (Agency Owner) - Being one of the rare few born and raised in the sunny state of Florida, I have always loved where I live and knew I wanted to start a business of my own here. Starting in culinary school and helping open a few restaurants it took me a while to find the path I wanted to take. After working long hours in the kitchen and looking for something different, I found the insurance world and have since cultivated over a decade of experience in the industry throughout various positions. In 2020 I knew it was time to branch out on my own. That's when the agency was born, Percheron Insurance Group (formerly known as Zenith Insurance Group).

As a dedicated agency owner, I understand that insurance is not just about policies and premiums; it’s about building lasting relationships and helping families to navigate the unknown. My clients are more than just numbers; they are neighbors, friends, and fellow Floridians. I take great pride in writing policies that meet their needs, always guided by my unwavering principles of honesty and integrity.

Outside of work, I’m a devoted parent and husband to a wonderful wife who also helps keep this ship running (business and home), and two lovely children who inspire me daily. My family is at the heart of everything I do, and I strive to instill the same values of hard work and dedication in my kids that have shaped my own journey. Balancing family life with running a successful agency has taught me invaluable lessons about resilience and the importance of teamwork, reinforcing my belief that when we support one another, we can achieve remarkable things together.

Chris Paul - Senior Agent - With 16 years of experience in the insurance industry, Chris Paul brings knowledge, experience, and a genuine commitment to helping his customers find the right coverage for their individual needs. He specializes in commercial insurance, personal insurance, and all property & casualty lines, working with individuals, families, and business owners throughout Florida.

Chris graduated from the University of Florida in 2009, and if you know him, you know his love for the Florida Gators runs deep! He especially enjoys attending Gators football games whenever he gets the chance.

What Chris enjoys most about being an insurance agent is getting to know his customers and building relationships that last. As part of a small, local business, he believes in providing the kind of personal service that can sometimes be missing from larger insurance companies. He treats every customer as if they are his one and only customer, taking the time to listen, answer questions, and make sure they understand their coverage.

Outside of work, Chris enjoys spending time with his wife and their 9-year-old daughter. As a family, they love bowling, playing board games, going to the beach, and riding bikes together. When he can find some free time for himself, Chris also enjoys getting out on the golf course.

For Chris, insurance is about more than policies and paperwork—it’s about people, relationships, and being there when his customers need him most.

Christian Frey - Chris brings 8 years of experience as a personal trainer and a genuine passion for helping people. His background in fitness taught him the importance of listening, building relationships, and understanding each person’s individual goals—values he carries into his work every day.

Outside of work, Chris is a big New York Jets fan and loves spending time at the beach with his dogs. He enjoys staying active through golf and pickleball, and especially loves spending time with his girlfriend, Liz, friends, and family.
