James Hinkle (Agency Owner) - Being one of the rare few born and raised in the sunny state of Florida, I have always loved where I live and knew I wanted to start a business of my own here. Starting in culinary school and helping open a few restaurants it took me a while to find the path I wanted to take. After working long hours in the kitchen and looking for something different, I found the insurance world and have since cultivated over a decade of experience in the industry throughout various positions. In 2020 I knew it was time to branch out on my own. That's when the agency was born, Percheron Insurance Group (formerly known as Zenith Insurance Group).

As a dedicated agency owner, I understand that insurance is not just about policies and premiums; it’s about building lasting relationships and helping families to navigate the unknown. My clients are more than just numbers; they are neighbors, friends, and fellow Floridians. I take great pride in writing policies that meet their needs, always guided by my unwavering principles of honesty and integrity.

Outside of work, I’m a devoted parent and husband to a wonderful wife who also helps keep this ship running (business and home), and two lovely children who inspire me daily. My family is at the heart of everything I do, and I strive to instill the same values of hard work and dedication in my kids that have shaped my own journey. Balancing family life with running a successful agency has taught me invaluable lessons about resilience and the importance of teamwork, reinforcing my belief that when we support one another, we can achieve remarkable things together.
